Delton Knight appeared in the Gun Court Division of the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday. The 64-year-old licensed firearm holder is charged with the murder of 38-year-old Ruel Knight, a businessman of East Mountain Pride Avenue, Long Mountain, St Andrew. He is to return to court on May 31. The son later died from the injuries he sustained. The man who was recaptured after disarming and shooting a policeman and escaping from the National Chest Hospital last month, has been slapped with multiple gun-related offences. Ricardo Richards, alias Kaka , has been charged with wounding with intent, illegal possession of firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, robbery with aggravation, and escaping custody. The accused was remanded in police custody when he appeared in the Gun Court Division of the Supreme Court on Thursday. His next court appearance is scheduled for April 21.
