The juveniles were allegedly involved in a targeted drug-related robbery where Leroy Xavier Wass-Morrill was stabbed
The Tigard Police Department has made two arrests in connection with the Jan. 29 stabbing murder of Leroy Xavier Wass-Morrill.
Wass-Morrill, 22, had called 9-1-1 that night to report he d been stabbed at his apartment complex, the Silver Creek Apartments in the 11500 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard. He was unable to identify his attacker and died a short time later.
On Thursday, Tigard Police Detectives arrested a 17-year-old girl and her 16-year-old relative in the case. The motive appears to be a targeted drug-related robbery. During the course of the robbery, a physical altercation ensued, and the victim was stabbed by one of the suspects, according to Tigard police. ....

Leroy Xavier Wass-Morill reportedly called 9-1-1 and said he had been stabbed. He later died of his injuries.
A 22-year-old Tigard resident was fatally stabbed on Friday night, Jan. 29, the Tigard Police Department reported.
Police said Saturday, Jan. 30, that Leroy Xavier Wass-Morill called 9-1-1 at 9:42 p.m. the previous night to report he had been stabbed.
Although police officers and paramedics treated Wass-Morrill at the scene and he was transported to a local hospital, they were unable to save his life, police said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police have yet to publicly identify a suspect, but the police department said Saturday morning that detectives are looking into several leads on possible suspects at this time. ....

Police declared a gathering near the Tigard Police Department a riot Thursday night, they said on Twitter.
Reportedly, people showed up at around 8:30 p.m.
A KATU photographer on the scene said as police moved in, the crowd left the area.
Police arrested 20-year-old Zane Saleem Bsoul. He faces a riot charge.
