Minnesota Senators secure $1.3 million in funding to fight opioid crisis
Some of the new jobs created will focus on counseling positions

MINNESOTA (WKBT) – People in Minnesota are receiving federal help for job training and fighting the opioid crisis.
Minnesota Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith said the US Department of Labor awarded the state the National Health Emergency Dislocated Worker Grant.
The grant is for up to one point three million dollars to train at least 200 workers.
Some of the new jobs created will focus on counseling positions to help those battling addiction and on the brink of homelessness. ....
