DETROIT (FOX 2) - Alana Harris is a junior at Detroit Cass Tech High School and is on a mission to inspire.
It doesn t matter if people are not going to like you for it, just do what you want to do. You never know the outcome, she said. I don t have a perfect body. I m kind of insecure about it. My mom doesn t have a perfect body, my sister doesn t either.

Boyertown 4th grader Sydney Gonzalez crowned Miss PA Elementary

Sydney Gonzalez of Boyertown has been crowned Miss Pennsylvania Elementary. She will compete for the national title of Miss Elementary United States 2021 at the National United States Scholarship Pageant July 19 to 23 in Hershey.
I was so happy and excited. I love wearing the crown!! said Gonzalez about winning the Miss Pennsylvania Elementary title.
A fourth-grader at Boyertown Elementary School, Gonzalez loves dance, swimming and, of course, pageants.

I like that you can meet new people and you get to do things you have never gotten to do before, Gonzalez said, explaining what she likes about participating in pageants. I especially like that you get to wear makeup and get your hair done. I love the dresses and being on stage!!! ....
