The advisory is only applicable to the areas below:
Beginning at 1119 Jennings Road to 1331
Highway 742 between 837 and 1742
Little Teche Road between 207 and 3193
Daniel Meche Road, Albert Road, Sandra Lee Road, Bebo Road, Amy Road
Officials say the advisory is in effect after a 4 main water line was cut by a contractor. As a result, the water produced by the system is of questionable microbiological quality.
The advisory is in effect until further notice. ....

The Town of Leonville has experienced problems with the water supply system. The Townâs water system is a very large rural water system that stretches from outskirts of Port Barre, outskirts of Arnaudville, outskirts of Opelousas, and all areas in between.
An eight-inch main water line was cut by a contractor, and that means parts of the system are now under a boil order.
Areas included in the boil advisory are:
