The Town of Leonville has experienced problems with the water supply system. The Town’s water system is a very large rural water system that stretches from outskirts of Port Barre, outskirts of Arnaudville, outskirts of Opelousas, and all areas in between.
An eight-inch main water line was cut by a contractor, and that means parts of the system are now under a boil order.
Areas included in the boil advisory are:
