Acting Health Minister Steven Miles said there was one new case of coronavirus in Queensland today in hotel quarantine.

Queensland is reimposing border declarations for people travelling into the state from Victoria, but Acting Health Minister Steven Miles said it was too early to declare Melbourne a hotspot following the outbreak at a quarantine hotel.
Mr Miles said the changes would come into affect from 1:00am Saturday.

It is too early from our perspective to declare a hotspot in Melbourne because all of those cases at this stage were contracted within the hotel quarantine on level three, Mr Miles said. ....
