Turkish jets strike civilian areas in Iraqi Kurdistan for second time in recent days

TURKISH jets attacked civilian districts of the Gara and Matin mountains in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Duhok province today morning, according to local media.
NRT reporter Nihad Oramari said that the missiles had struck areas near the villages of Kurku, Bnavi and Kafia at least five times. No casualties were reported as a result of the air strike, which was the second in recent days.
Though the missiles did not hit any homes, they struck agricultural land and areas where local residents collect spring grass and seeds.

KOTA BARU, April 15 The issue over the country losing marine resource revenue worth over RM4.25 billion annually due to foreign fishing boats encroaching into Malaysian waters, must be addressed in an integrated manner, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries II Datuk Che Abdullah Mat Nawi.
He said the ministry through the Fisheries Department had always been working in collaboration with other agencies such as the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) and the Marine Police Force (PPM) to curb illegal encroachment activities. ....
