CAMDEN House District 94 Representative Vicki Doudera, D-Camden, detailed Friday her pleasure the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) has projects totaling more than $15,000,000 planned in her district that includes Camden and Rockport, including a $3.5 million new construction project of harbor piers, floats and fenders on Sea Street in Camden and a $1 million bicycle/pedestrian sidewalk/trail from Rockport’s Country Inn to Camden’s Quarry Hill. The various projects are scheduled for 2021, 2022, and 2023, and will in some cases overlap with neighboring towns outside District 94. “Our transportation infrastructure is key to everything we do, from walking safely in our downtowns, to cycling past our scenic harbors, or driving to jobs, shopping, or healthcare,” said Rep. AUGUSTA Senator David Miramant, D-Camden, is pleased with Maine’s three-year transportation infrastructure work plan, and what it means for Knox County. The plan is released annually with an outline of the Maine Department of Transportation’s strategy for road, bridge and other transportation upgrades and maintenance projects. “I am excited to see all of the investment in our infrastructure here in Knox County,” said Sen.
