Michigan State University College of Human Medicine officials recently published a study outlining the future economic impact of the four buildings that comprise MSU’s Grand Rapids presence on the Medical Mile.
The buildings include the Secchia Center, the MSU Grand Rapids Research Center, and two buildings under construction: the Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building and Perrigo Company’s North American corporate headquarters, which in the report was dubbed “Building 4.” ....

GRAND RAPIDS, MI Michigan State University’s growth along the Medical Mile will result in an estimated $339 million economic impact each year in Kent County, officials announced Monday, April 12.
That figure comes from an economic analysis of four buildings, two of which are under construction, that comprise the university’s presence along the Medical Mile the stretch of Michigan Street north of downtown Grand Rapids. ....

Perrigo and MSU ink formal partnership - Grand Rapids Business Journal

Following the recent news that Perrigo is relocating its North American headquarters to Michigan State University’s Grand Rapids Innovation Park being developed downtown, the two entities said last week they are entering a formal partnership to advance consumer self-care innovation.
Dublin-based Perrigo Company and MSU said Jan. 11 that they have signed a partnership connecting the university’s clinical and research expertise with Perrigo’s product innovation, manufacturing scale and retail partnerships to “empower consumers to take control of their self-care needs.”
The collaboration brings together industry and academic thought leaders who share a passion for enhancing the health and well-being of society with a focus on research and clinical outcomes, retail and pharmacy experiences and technology and product innovations. ....
