Bold Advanced Medical Future Health coming to Grand Rapids Medical Mile

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â Global theranostics and radiopharmacy innovator Bold Advanced Medical Future Health (BAMF) will establish its headquarters in downtown Grand Rapidsâ Medical Mile, according to a news release Thursday.
The company expects to add more than 200 life science jobs and invest $30 million in its new facility, which is expected to contain the worldâs most advanced cyclotro-equipped radiopharmacy, molecular imaging clinic and theranostics clinic.
This radiopharmacy will produce novel radiopharmaceuticals onsite so cancer patients will receive confirmed diagnosis and treatment in a same-day visit.

The Grand Rapids City Commission kicked off its new legislative year focusing on job and housing creation.
The city commission held public hearings on two proposed development projects that will result in 245 jobs coming to Grand Rapids with an estimated $142,616 in new annual income tax revenue to the city. It also supported future housing development totaling $87 million that will create 308 new housing units 263 of which will be affordable. It also learned more about proposed zoning changes that would promote the development of new housing.
Mayor Rosalynn Bliss said the incentives provided by the commission are an investment in Grand Rapids’ future economic prosperity and housing needs.

Following the recent news that Perrigo is relocating its North American headquarters to Michigan State University’s Grand Rapids Innovation Park being developed downtown, the two entities said last week they are entering a formal partnership to advance consumer self-care innovation.
Dublin-based Perrigo Company and MSU said Jan. 11 that they have signed a partnership connecting the university’s clinical and research expertise with Perrigo’s product innovation, manufacturing scale and retail partnerships to “empower consumers to take control of their self-care needs.”
The collaboration brings together industry and academic thought leaders who share a passion for enhancing the health and well-being of society with a focus on research and clinical outcomes, retail and pharmacy experiences and technology and product innovations.
