Kaiser Permanente has postponed “elective and non-urgent” surgeries and procedures at its Northern California facilities through Jan. 4 due to the coronavirus surge, officials said Saturday.
In a statement to The Chronicle Saturday night, Kaiser officials said they are not postponing “cancer cases or other urgent/emergent surgeries and procedures.” Instead, they are delaying elective and non-urgent surgeries and procedures “that take place in our main hospital operating rooms.” ....
