Clynch, Enright and Hammersley added to Meath backroom team January 25, 2021 Meath hurling manager Nick Weir has added to his backroom management team. Weir has added to his coaching staff in the form of Tipperary men Johnny Enright and Timmy Hammerslewy along with former county player Steven Clynch. David Reilly will continue in his coaching role. Johnny Enright is a former Thurles Sarsfields player, who has won four Tipperary Senior Hurling Championships and one Munster Club Championship with his club. He has also represented Tipperary at all levels and has won 3 Fitzgibbon Cup titles in the ’90s with UCC. Now living in Kildare, Johnny played for Kildare in 2012. Since then he has played with and coached the Eire Óg Corra Choill senior hurling team. Johnny has also coached the UCD Fitzgibbon Cup team for three years and was part of the Thurles Sarsfields backroom team in 2017. ....
