Elected officials, business owners and local residents are sharing their reactions to the governor s new executive order that eliminates any fines related to COVID-19 restrictions.The governor s new executive order cancels any fines related to local government COVID-19 restrictions on people and business.The order states any fines imposed between March 1, 2020, and March 10, 2021, as well as fines imposed by any political subdivision of Florida related to local government COVID-19 restrictions are canceled.The order goes on to say it can serve as a defense to the collection of those fines.The order only applies to local government and not any enforcement or COVID-19 related orders taken by the state.It also does not cancel fines imposed on assisted living facilities, hospitals or health care providers. The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) held its 38th Executive Board Meeting via videoconference. The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials of Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Azerbaijan, Iraq, Malaysia, Norway, Peru and the UAE participated as Observers. During the two-day meeting, the gathering reviewed the 2020 milestones, summed up the main outcomes of the 22nd Ministerial Meeting and associated events that was held in November 2020, and forged the way forward for GECF’s smooth sailing through the first part of 2021. ....

China s Ant Group Chief Executive Officer Simon Hu has stepped down from his role and will be replaced by Executive Chairman Eric Jing, the financial technology giant said on Friday.
The Ant Group Board of Directors has accepted Mr. Simon Hu s resignation request, due to personal reasons, Ant said in a statement.
Hu s exit from the company comes as Ant is working on plans to shift to a financial holding company structure following intense regulatory pressure to subject them to rules and capital requirements similar to those for banks. ....
