Girl, 11, tragically dies after being struck by car wheel in Manby Amelia Wood, 11 sadly died after she was struck by a car wheel. An 11-year-old girl has died after she was hit by the wheel of a car in Manby Middlegate on Tuesday. Amelia Wood had been walking to school on the pavement next to the B1200 when she was hit by a wheel that was reported to have flown from a white Land Rover Discovery at around 8am on Tuesday, March 6.
