　對於本港与内地的通关问题，林鄭指出，已就本港疫情向中央提交報告，表達各界強烈訴求，希望可以逐步有序局部通關，但強調並無通關的硬指標。
　林鄭表示，通關可以先按配額進行，例如助促進商務經濟發展或有切身需要的市民通關。但不是一定要有硬指標，要連續多少日清零才可商討，而这需要有能力提升的證明。她指出，經歷10多個月的疫情，可以看到香港在檢測、追蹤、檢疫方面都有提升，希望可爭取中央從能力提升、個案穩定下，考慮民生經濟需要，給予一個正面指導，例如何時通關、人數如何等。
　林鄭再次呼籲市民接種疫苗，因為目前4成人的接種率，與達至建立群體免疫仍有相當距離。她說，如果市民已打針，可讓她有更多子彈及力量，向中央爭取恢復與內地往來。

City Council Set To Pass Ordinance Dealing With Vegetation Requirements On Steep Slopes

City Council members said they plan to pass next Tuesday on first reading a new vegetative ordinance for construction on steep slopes. It would go into effect on July 1 and be reviewed after a year.
Chairman Chip Henderson said he also wants action on a recidivism ordinance, in which there would be penalties against developers who repeatedly violate regulations.
City Councilman Darrin Ledford said, It s not a magic pill, but it s a great step forward.
He said the ordinance encourages a stay away from steep slopes mentality and he said it called for retention of existing trees and shrubs, planting of new trees and use of native species. ....
