(CEmONC) centre started on PPP model in Chhota Udepur closed down VADODARA: Beginning this month, nearly 100 pregnant tribal women will have to knock doors of private hospitals and their families will pay hefty medical bills for deliveries as Gujarat’s only Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (CEmONC) centre that was started on PPP model closed down on Wednesday. The CEmONC was started through PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model in Jabugam village in tribal dominated Chhota Udepur district’s Bodeli taluka in 2005-06. But since a year, the Gujarat Health and Family Welfare (GHFW) department did not renew the MoU which it had signed with Vadodara-based Deepak Foundation.
