(MENAFN - Baystreet.ca) The S&P 500 reversed lower in volatile trading on Tuesday, slipping from a record high as rising bond yields kept investors on edge. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 64.35 points to close Tuesday at 31,522.75, eking out a record close. The S&P 500 lost 2.24 points to 3,932.59. The NASDAQ Composite demurred 47.97 points to 14,047.50. All three major averages hit record highs earlier in the day. Energy was the best-performing sector, rising 2.3% as a deep freeze in the South sparked a rally in oil prices and put West Texas Intermediate crude futures above $60 a barrel for the first time in over a year. ....
