Mr Baker s comments come after Perth GP Dr Sarah Bailey started a parliamentary petition calling on the government to change the legislation to fix the anomaly.
So far, more than 3300 people have signed the petition.
Last year, Ms Underdown and Mr Baker started a similar parliamentary petition about the same issue, which attracted almost 700 signatures.

Hearings continue for young men accused of killing Shelby teen

A teenager accused of killing a younger teen pleaded not guilty in Cleveland County court Wednesday.
Prosecutors say that Dylan Brian Penson was the trigger man when he took the life of 16-year-old Nathan Kyle Hester on June 15, 2020.
Following Penson s not guilty plea, his attorney, Gus Anthony, asked to have his client’s $1 million bond reduced.
Though Penson has two co-defendants in the case, Cleveland County Assistant District Attorney Sally Kirby-Turner called Penson the aggressor and turned to Hester’s family during the hearing.
Hester’s mother, uncle and sister implored the judge not to lower the bond.
“He pulled the trigger. It needs to stay or be higher,” Hester’s mother, Virginia Hester, said of the bond amount. ....

The Barbour Community Health Association team and community members come together for the grand opening of Philippi Wellness Center. The new wellness center is located on 206 S. Main Street in Philippi.
PHILIPPI Barbour Community Health Association team and community leaders joined together for the grand opening of Philippi Wellness Center.
The 900-square-foot facility, located in the rear of the Barbour Chiropractic Center building, provides basic wellness and preventative services to area citizens, with opportunities for indoor cardio (heart, lung and circulatory system) exercise and strength training.
A variety of exercise equipment is available to members, as well as periodic seminars, classes, and workshops on topics like diet, exercise and stress. The Center will soon begin to offer Silver Sneakers Classic, Yoga (seated and standing), as well as other aerobic dance and step workouts. Exercise classes are included in member ....

Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center graduates 274th Basic Training Class

HUTCHINSON Twenty-seven new law enforcement officers graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) on Feb. 26 at a ceremony held in KLETC’s Integrity Auditorium.
Deputy Luke Davis of the Gray County Sheriff’s Office was the graduating class president. The speaker for the ceremony was Chief Nelson Mosley of the Rose Hill Police Department. Mike Satterlee, KLETC senior instructor of police, was the class coordinator for the 274th Basic Training Class.
Officer Samantha Snell of the Galena Police Department was recognized by KLETC Executive Director Darin Beck and awarded a KLETC Certificate of Commendation for her actions in the performance of her duties. Snell, along with Officer Logan Grant of the Galena Police Department, risked their lives on Jan. 18 in an attempt to save victims of a fiery two-vehicle head-on crash. Grant will be recognized when he graduates March 19. ....
