Police charge 2 after knife fight in McDonald’s parking lot

Two men were arrested after stabbing each other Wednesday during a fight in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in Neptune Township, authorities said.
Quoron Patterson, 23, and Kironn Hamilton, 31, wee treated at a local hospital for minor injuries after the fight around 5 p.m. outside the fast food eatery on Route 35, Neptune Township police said in a statement.
Both Neptune residents were charged with aggravated assault and two weapons offenses before being brought to the Monmouth County jail in Freehold Township. Hamilton was also charged with criminal mischief. ....

A woman and her boyfriend were sentenced Thursday to a combined 15 years in state prison after she admitted last year that suffocated her newborn son and that he helped her dispose of his body in a dumpster in 2019, officials said.
Jada M. McClain, 20, of Neptune Township was sentenced to 10 years in state prison after she pleaded guilty on Jan. 6 to first degree aggravated manslaughter and Quaimere Mohammed, 21, also of Neptune Township, was sentenced to five years after he pleaded guilty on the same day to second degree disturbing or desecrating human remains in connection with the death of a newborn baby, according to ....
