A newly formed coalition of health and technology experts is calling on the Australian Parliament to force Big Tech companies to reveal the true extent of COVID-19 misinformation.
In a ​letter sent to the Australian Parliament today​, the coalition warns unchecked misinformation risks Australia’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
They have called on politicians to introduce a ​Big Tech ‘Live List’​, which details the most popular coronavirus-related material being shared online.
The coalition, led by ​Reset Australia​, includes the ​Immunisation Coalition​, the I​ mmunisation Foundation of Australia​, ​Coronavax ​and the ​Doherty Institute​.

1,46,598 beneficiaries were vaccinated on the eighth day of nationwide COVID19 vaccination.
The cumulative number of healthcare workers vaccinated against COVID-19 is at 12,72,097 (till 6 p.m. on Friday) through 24,397 sessions, as per a provisional report of the Health Ministry.
The Ministry added that 267 cases of Adverse Effect Following Immunisation (AEFI) have been reported till 6 p.m.
