Mundy Wilson Piper, president and CEO of Chippers, Inc, said she considered both employees and clients when making the decision to join Davey Tree. In particular, she was drawn to the fact that Davey is the 9th largest employee-owned company in the US, according to the National Center for Employee Ownership.
Kimberly Sizelove has been named Regional Director of
Vermont Adult Learning’s Windham County office. She joined Vermont Adult Learning in 2021, entering the organization in her role as Regional Director. “VAL’s mission resonates with me,” Sizelove said. “I felt motivated to dedicate my time and use my skills to contribute to the success of Vermonters.”

BARRE Green Mountain United Way has added two new board members, Gail Pivetti of Montpelier and Kevin Mead of Newport.
Gail Pivetti is marketing director for Green Mountain Community Fitness in Berlin. Gail has experience in nonprofit communications and marketing with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
“I’m passionate about working to improve the lives of folks in our community, and I believe Green Mountain United Way is uniquely positioned to provide wrap-around support for people who might not otherwise have access,” Pivetti said. “At the board level, I bring a willingness to find and support new modes of operating and new ways of thinking; I am excited to be part of furthering the mission of Green Mountain United Way.”

PCC also provided support to a number of events outside of Vermont, including the Black Arts Matter festival in Madison, Wisconsin.
PCC also allows its employees to take time off for community service and encourages them to become active leaders and board members in organizations, some of which include Lyric Theatre, Laboratory B, Kids Safe, and the Vermont Technology Alliance.

$15,300 went to 16 local nonprofit organizations in the form of sponsorships.
$10,000 is being donated to a pool of six organizations selected by its clients as part of its 2020 holiday donation initiative.
J. Scott Marketing
J. Scott Marketing donated $500 to the VT Food Bank and also volunteered woman-hours for Vote Forward, a political non-profit that encourages inactive voters to get to the polls.
