A state budget that works for St. Cloud

The 2021-2022 Minnesota state budget is the most important in a generation as we work to help Minnesotans recover from the historic challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
I’m working with the Walz Administration and my legislative colleagues to pass a budget that fills the needs of St. Cloud. Last week, I held a Budget Listening Session with Revenue Commissioner Robert Doty to get direct feedback from my constituents on their priorities to help shape my decisions regarding investments in our state budget. 
Rooted in what I am hearing from the people I represent, I’m proud to support the Minnesota House budget proposals that include significant ongoing investments in education, prioritize economic assistance to those most impacted by COVID-19, and create a safer and more secure state for all Minnesotans.
