Britain’s National Trust is forcing all of its volunteers to undergo “everyday inclusion” diversity training tackling such alleged issues as so-called “unconscious bias”.
The state-backed conservation charity the largest in all Europe is responsible for almost 620,000 acres of land, close to 800 miles of coastline, over 500 “historic houses, castles, parks, and gardens”, and nearly a million works of art but its leadership has become increasingly preoccupied with trendy, woke causes such as Black Lives Matter, LGBT activism, climate change, gender identity, and admonishing Britain for past links to slavery and colonialism in recent years, rather than its core mission of heritage preservation. ....

BBC and Channel 5 presenter Jeremy Vine has been panned for asking if it is “a problem” that those attending the Covid-restricted funeral of the Queen’s consort Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, are white.
Vine made the comments not on his long-running BBC Radio 2 show but on his Channel 5 television programme.
“You’ve just made me think of this because of your lovely greeting to the many diverse communities in this brilliant country,” Vine simpered in comments to fellow broadcaster Gursharonjit ‘Shay’ Grewal, who is of South Asian heritage.
“We are gonna see a group of 30 people who are going to be at this very restricted funeral, and I’m imagining it will be 30 people who are white,” he continued. ....

UK: Illegal Boat Migration Triples over 2020, as 42 More Land on Tuesday

The number of illegal boat migrants who have landed on British soil so far this year is treble the number who came during the same period last year, as another 42 aliens were brought ashore at the Port of Dover on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s arrivals mean that some 1,483 illegal migrants have crossed the English Channel from France since the start of the year, with 223 landings in January, 308 in February, 831 in March, and 121 to date in April.
During the same time period last year, approximately 466 illegals were taken ashore, according to the
Daily Mail, which noted that if current trends continue then some 25,000 migrants will make the illegal journey by the end of the year, three times as much as last year’s record 8,400. ....

Hannah Yeoh slams Ronnie Liu over remarks, Liu hits back, labelling her 'immature'

PETALING JAYA: DAP’s Hannah Yeoh and Ronnie Liu are in a spat after the former lambasted the latter for his remarks that the party should not dilute its “Chinese-ness” or position itself as a non-Chinese party.
Yeoh, who is Segambut MP, slammed Liu, who was quoted in a news portal as saying that while DAP needed to work with Malay parties, it cannot degrade its honour by being seen as a non-Chinese party.
“Ronnie Liu does not represent me. The DAP that Ronnie wants is not the DAP that I joined.
“I joined DAP because this party defends the rights of all Malaysians. I don’t agree with his speech. ....
