Stratford warehouse becomes Sugar House Island cultural hub

The Talent House is set in a refurbished Victorian warehouse with modern extension.

A former Victorian warehouse in Stratford has been given a new lease of life as two creative organisations prepare to move in.
The Talent House, set in the refurbished historic building with a modern extension, will become home to East London Dance (ELD) and urban music organisation UD in the autumn.
It is part of the Dane’s Yard creative quarter within the Sugar House Island development by Vastint UK.

Funding secured for Newham dance and music talent house

Two organisations in the borough have received funding to help set up a pioneering creative hub for music and dance talent.
East London Dance, based at the Stratford Circus Arts Centre, received £94,033 from the government’s culture recovery fund towards establishing the talent house , which includes offices, music and dance studios and flexible learning spaces.
The facility will be shared with music organisation Urban Development, which was also awarded £93,892 to support the project. ....
