Christ University was started as a college called Christ College in 1969. It is administrated by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), a Catholic Congression founded by an educationalist and social reformer, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara in 1831. The college was established based on his educational vision. University Grants Commission gave the university an autonomous title in 2004. In 2006 the college was identified as an Institution with Potential for Excellence. The college was declared as Deemed To Be University by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in 2008. 
Christ University is accredited with “A” grade by National Assesment and Accreditation Council [NAAC] in 1998, 2004 and 2016. Learning as avatars may become new school norm in Japan

Some educational institutions in Japan are already moving on from videoconferencing for remote learning to classes using virtual reality in three-dimensional spaces.

Virtual reality (VR) classrooms may become the new normal for schools of the future, given that some universities have already begun experimenting with classes using student avatars in school buildings created in virtual spaces.
With online learning becoming more widespread amid the prolonged novel coronavirus crisis, the virtual classroom paradigm is attracting attention as it is easier to raise students’ sense of participation than with videoconferencing or watching videos.
“It’s OK if you get too close, because you’re an avatar,” the avatar of Kindai University associate professor Takeshi Okamoto told students during a demonstration of VR classes held at the university on Jan. 13. ....

ABSTRACT: The union between the English and French-speaking regions of Cameroon has exploded into a violent crisis, questioning the legitimacy of the central government of the country. The main objective of this study is to explore the causes of the Anglophone crisis, to analyze the rise of arms trafficking and its effects on the two English regions of Cameroon. The conflict theory is used as a model of analysis in expatiating the issue of arms trafficking and its effects on the two English regions of Cameroon. This sociological analysis, defines the area of study, bad governance, hardship, and extreme poverty as the main causes of arms trafficking in two English regions.
