Doha: Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have intensified their efforts to take action against individuals violating Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country.
The officials recorded 631 individuals and referred them to the Public Prosecution for violations.
580 were booked for not wearing masks in public while 23 were found violating the limit allowed in a vehicle, which is specified as four persons, including the driver, except for members of the same family. All the violators were referred to the Public Prosecution for further action
Till now 12,373 people have been referred to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks and 392 people for not following the limit of people inside a vehicle, which is specified as 4 including the driver, except for the members of the same family. ....
