Traditional and modern quilts will be available in all shapes, sizes Danita Simmons, manager of Heritage Designs Quilting & Needlework shop in Amana, points out some of the detail work in this 1930s reproduction quilt that Jane Bazyn of Victor (left) made from a bag of fragile, unfinished Dresden plate blocks. Bazyn took a modern approach to the project, blending classic and modern designs. It will be among more than 150 quilts on display Friday through Sunday at the Quilt Amana show and sale at the Price Creek Event Center in Amana.
