UW's Educational Leadership Master's Program Named 'Best in the West'


The top programs are affordable, respected and flexible, the website says.
“We are pleased to see our high-quality program receive the ‘Best in the West’ ranking, and we agree. Our master’s program is a thoughtfully designed blend of academic scholarship and practical application that prepares our candidates for demanding, meaningful work in school administration,” says Barbara Hickman, assistant professor and program coordinator for UW’s Educational Leadership Program.

Intelligent.com evaluated 242 programs from 160 institutions to select the top 50. Each program was evaluated on the basis of flexibility, faculty, course strength, cost and reputation. The website then calculated an “Intelligent Score” for each program on a scale of zero to 100. ANN ARBOR, MI Ann Arbor is moving forward with developing an unarmed public safety response program to have non-police professionals respond to certain 911 calls.
City Council voted unanimously in favor of the idea Monday night, April 5, directing City Administrator Tom Crawford to work with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and others to try to establish a program by the end of 2021.
