Omobola Afolayan, 40, is a protector. Afolayan moved to Indianapolis from Nigeria in 2019 with her husband and two sons, now 9 and 12, to live a life without persecution. Her family is Christian and with the rise of Boko Haram, an Islamist group that has killed thousands of people and displaced millions, Omobola made the decision to come to the United States to find safety and peace. Recent Butler University graduate, Christina Swider, better known as Xtina Louise in the music world, has just released a music video for her new single, “The View,” and she’s on a mission to make a difference with her music. Xtina Louise recently announced that she has chosen to partner with Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS Indiana) to raise awareness for the nonprofit organization as well as critical funds. ....
