Part of the strategy for opening Moncus Park, set to open in late 2021, includes new leadership roles.
This summer, current Executive Director Elizabeth E.B. Brooks will transition into her new role as founder. Current Operations Director JP MacFadyen will become Moncus Park s new executive director.
MacFadyen has been with Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit tasked with building and operating the park, for about two years and has an MBA, with a background in operational leadership, business, and supply chain logistics.
Brooks will continue to support the organization as founder with the design and construction of Phase 3, a news release stated. She will also have a hand in fundraising efforts and sharing institutional knowledge with new board and staff members.
