A Hueysville couple was arrested recently on several charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, heroin and other charges after an investigation by the Floyd County Sheriffâs Office. According to court documents, on March 5, deputies received information from another police agency that Timothy Bates, 34, and Brandy Conley, 27, were trafficking drugs out of their residence at Jefferson Road, Hueysville. Deputies, along with officers with the Martin Police Department, went to the residence and received permission to search. According to the citation, written by Deputy Darrin Lawson, while searching the living room where Bates and Conley slept, deputies found five sets of digital scales, a large bag which contained 51 white pills believed to be gabapentin and three glass pipes used for smoking methamphetamine. ....
Martin City Police Department is reporting that: Martin City Police Officer Brad Stidham, along with Floyd County Constable District#2 Gary Nelson & Floyd County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jeremy I. Bentley age 38 of Red Creek Road, Pikeville, KY on Tuesday night February 9, 2021 at approximately 9:30PM. The arrest occurred on KY-1428 Mainstreet in City of Martin. Officer Brad Stidham, conducted a traffic stop on a gray Nissan 4DR after he observed the vehicle traveling 25 miles over the speed limit. During the stop, Officer Brad Stidham, learned that this subject had suspended license due to a previous dui, and the passenger had an active warrant for his arrest thru NCIC Database. ....
On February 10th 2021 At approximately 1:00 a.m. Martin City Police Officer Brad Stidham, Attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix on KY-80 in Martin. The vehicle failed to stop. After a short chase the driver of the vehicle, Katerina Pratt, age 25 of Allen Banner Road, Allen, KY lost control and slid to a stop a few feet from the CSX railroad tracks on Warco Rd in Langley, KY. Katerina Pratt was arrested and charged with OPER MTR VEH U/INFLU ALC/DRUGS, FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST, POSS CONT SUB-3RD DEGREE-1ST OFFENSE, FAILURE TO DIM HEADLIGHTS, INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT VIOLATION, NO/EXPIRED KENTUCKY REGISTRATION, NO/EXPIRED REGISTRATION PLATES, FAIL OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE, FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD as well as an outstanding Floyd County District Court Warrant for her Arrest charging: PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLL SUB (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), WANTON ENDANGERMENT- 2ND DEGREE, ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MIN ....
