Couple in S'pore raises S$190,000 to send oxygen concentrators to India for fight against Covid-19

The Covid-19 crisis in India has escalated in the past month, with the country reporting several hundred thousand new cases per day and the total number of cases surpassing two million on May 4.
Hoping to raise money to support efforts in the fight against Covid-19 in India, one Singapore-based couple started a dollar-for-dollar matching crowdfunding campaign that has raised more than S$192,000 from donors around the world in just 11 days.
Started campaign because of concern for family & friends in India
Singaporean permanent residents (PRs) Prantik Mazumdar and Dipti Kamath told
Mothership that they started the fundraiser because of deep concern for their family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones living in India. ....

Dentsu Asia Pacific has appointed Rachel Ooi as chief growth officer, customer experience management (CXM) for its Asia Pacific operations, effective immediately. In the newly created role, Ooi (pictured) will be responsible for bolstering CXM s regional footprint through new business and organic growth, working closely with media and creative leads on integrated opportunities. She will also lead the regional roll-out and implementation of the sales platform across all sales and account management functions.
Ooi has dual reporting lines to Zhengda Shen, CEO, CXM, dentsu Asia Pacific, and Owen McCorry, global chief growth officer, CXM, dentsu. She joins from Accenture where she was previously MD, Industry X.O lead (growth markets) based in Singapore.
