A 72-year-old woman was arrested and charged with a hate crime earlier this week for threatening the life of her Vietnamese American neighbor, The Seattle Times reports. According to the neighbor, Jan Myers had been verbally harassing her for years. 
In an encounter the neighbor recorded because she feared for her safety, according to KOMO News, Myers allegedly drove up to the neighbor’s lawn while she was gardening and shouted racist remarks at her. 
“Hey Miss Vietnam, look at all that trash,” Myers said, laughing.
Later in the video, the woman is heard threatening the neighbor. “You’re not going to live very long,” she said. ....
