Somerset man accused of bringing meth and heroin into PCDC

A Somerset man was arrested by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Thursday on drug-related charges after a traffic stop.
Brandon Mayfield, 31, is charged with first-degree Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and first-degree Possession of a Controlled Substance – Heroin.
According to PCSO, the charges stem from an earlier investigation by the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole.
Officer Jason Hardwick, with the Division of Probation and Parole, and Eubank Police Department Chief Tony Duncan conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on North Ky. 27.
In that traffic stop, officers spotted and took into custody Mayfield, who was being sought on Pulaski Circuit Court Indictments for multiple counts of trafficking in methamphetamine and Fentanyl, as well as being a Persistent Felony Offender. ....

Tuesday night, Sedalia Police observed an individual riding a bike on West Main Street without a light in the area of West Main Street and Winchester Drive. During the search, Officers located a grinder and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. Gonzalo J. Esqueda, 39, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. A request for the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been submitted to the prosecutor.
 
Wednesday night, Sedalia Police observed an individual riding a bike without a light in the area of East 5th Street and South Washington Avenue. The subject was identified and during the course of the investigation it was found the subject had a no bond warrant from the Division of Probation and Parole. Matthew Wayne Jones, 40, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis Count ....
