James Smith s procedure was completed at 7:26 a.m. and he was transferred to post-anesthesia care at 7:32 a.m. At 7:50 a.m., only 18 minutes later, Gray recorded his discharge score as 10 out of 10 and gave him his clothes and instructed him to get dressed.

Death was following a period of declining health. He was born Dec. 1, 1947, at the Teter Creek Lake Community, a son of the late Osler Brant Edna Johnson Phillips. He is survived by two children, Barbara Gordon and husband, Richard, of Buckhannon, and Teresa Henderson and husband, Terry, of Philippi; and one grandchild, Tyler Gordon and wife, Ashley, of Clarksburg. A special thank you to his caregivers, Sherry, Jeannie, Iva and Josh.

Mar 8, 2021 Polly Mae Minear Boltz, 80, a resident of Beverly, departed this life early Wednesday morning, March 3, 2021, at her home. She had been in declining health although death was unexpected. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Final Rites will be conducted from the funeral home, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jack Howell and Pastor Bryan Headley will officiate and interment will follow at the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery at Cravensdale. Masks and social distancing will be required. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Polly Mae Minear Boltz.
