Over 2,000 soldiers vaccinated with China's Sinovac so far

A total of 2,290 military healthcare workers have already been inoculated with CoronaVac vaccine from China’s Sinovac Biotech Ltd. since the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) began administering jabs against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the military has announced.

Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, AFP Chief of Staff, said 598 military personnel have been vaccinated at the V. Luna Medical Center (VLMC), 583 at Camp General Emilion Aguinaldo Station Hospital (CGEASH), 349 at the Philippine Navy’s Manila Naval Hospital (PNMNH), 566 at the Philippine Army General Hospital (PAGH), and 194 at the Philippine Air Force General Hospital (PAFGH) as of Thursday, March 4. ....

2,290 military medical personnel gets Sinovac

More than 2,000 military medical frontllners have been vaccinated by the Chinese-made Sinovac since the national government started its roll-out of vaccine for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday.
Navy Capt. Jonathan Zata, chief military information officer, said a total of 598 personnel of the V. Luna Medical Center were inoculated, 583 at the Camp Emilio Aguinaldo Station Hospital, 349 at the Philippine Navy Manila Naval Hospital, 566 at the Philippine Army General Hospital and 194 at the Philippine Air Force General Hospital, for a total of 2,290 military medical frontliners.
Lt Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, chief of staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), said more than 3,000 vaccines are still available and set to be vaccinated for the personnel of the five military hospitals. ....

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) officially started the legal coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination of its personnel on Tuesday, March 2 three months after it was rocked by a scandal that involved select members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) getting unregistered and possibly smuggled vaccines.

AFP starts vaccinating personnel vs. COVID-19

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and its branches on Tuesday conducted separate ceremonial vaccinations where at least 120 medical healthcare workers were inoculated againstCOVID-19.
AFP spokesperson Major General Edgard Arevalo said at least 30 personnel are expected to get vaccinated by Sinovac s CoronaVac s vaccine in each health facility.
At the Camp Aguinaldo General Hospital, among the first recipients of the shots were Office of Chief Nurse’s chief admin officer Lieutenant Colonel Jacquelyn Cloma, operations officer Major Francis Jan Andrade, and assistant chief nurse Major Dennis Delgado.
Meanwhile, at the Manila Naval Hospital, the health facility’s commander, Colonel Puralyn, led the vaccination of Philippine Navy and Philippine Marines personnel. ....
