Petersburg police arrest man for malicious wounding


PETERSBURG - Last night, a man was arrested for malicious wounding in connection to a shooting in Petersburg.
Twenty-five-year-old Deion Bond of the 13000 block of Beachcrest Drive in Chesterfield was arrested by the Petersburg Police on Sunday for the shooting that took place in the 200 block of E. Washington Street in Petersburg on Saturday, April 10. 
Bond has been charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting into an occupied vehicle (x3), and discharging a firearm in the commission of a felony (x3). Currently, Bond is being held pending his appearance in court.
In a press release, the Petersburg Bureau of Police thanked the public, the United States Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force, and the Chesterfield Police for their assistance with the arrest of Bond. ....
