东京奥运会开幕，以往历届奥运会上出现过很多英雄式的人物，今日讲述的是——张继科。
张继科于1988年2月16日出生在山东青岛，他的父亲张传铭是青岛市第二体育场的少儿乒乓球教练，他同时也是张继科职业生涯的启蒙教练。2003年1月，进入国家一队获得世界青少年巡回赛新西兰公开赛决赛冠军。2004年10月，因违反队规被退回省队。
这次被退回省队对于16岁的张继科来说的确是一个不小的打击，但他没有就此沉沦。在省队，他一天上三节课，晚上当别人休息时还继续训练。
2006年11月，张继科重回国家队，他也就此开启了自己的“大满贯”之旅
2008年，张继科在全国锦标赛上与王皓等人合作，以全胜战绩为解放军队获得男团冠军之后，又在男单比赛中连胜马琳、王励勤和王皓，一举获得男单冠军。
2009年，世界杯团体赛，张继科作为主力队员出战，决赛中他战胜了韩国老将吴尚垠为中国队拿下了关键的一分，并最终率队夺得了冠军。亚锦赛团体决赛，张继科连续战胜日本新秀水谷隼和松平健太，为中国队夺冠立下了头功。
2010年，张继科已经势不可挡，他拿到了亚洲杯男单冠军。莫斯科世乒赛团体赛决赛中，张继科在提交名单前五分钟替换王皓担任第三单打上场，赢了苏斯，并拿下关键一分，帮助中国男团取得冠军 。
2012年8月的伦敦奥运会乒乓球男单决赛中，张继科以4-1战胜王皓夺得冠军。同时，他也实现了世锦赛、世界杯、奥运会三项冠军的大满贯，成为在中国男乒历史上继刘国梁和孔令辉之后的第三位大满贯选手。
张继科的恩师刘国梁，在1996年世界杯、奥运会以及1999年世乒赛登顶，时间跨度为2年9月。孔令辉则是1995年世乒赛、世界杯以及2000年奥运会折桂，时间跨度达到5年4月。可是张继科呢？在1年3月的时间里，就完成了大满贯的伟业，绝对堪称神迹！
特别说明的是，世乒赛、世界杯和奥运会冠军，连续三项大赛都是击败王皓夺冠，张继科的能力已无需证明，如此速成大满贯荣誉，这是连瓦尔德内尔、刘国梁和孔令辉这样伟大的人物，都没有达到过的高度，而王励勤、马琳和王皓，更是被张继科远远抛离身后。
伦敦奥运会之后的4年奥运周期，张继科出现了伤病。卡塔尔公开赛，张继科因伤退赛。不过，张继科随后在第52届世界乒乓球锦标赛男单决赛中击败王皓取得冠军；同时，他也成为历史上第七位成功卫冕世乒赛男单冠军之人。
2016年，张继科状态开始复苏，带着刘国梁给的“最后一次机会”在里约奥运会男子乒乓球单打决赛中，张继科以0-4负于队友马龙，获得亚军。8月在里约奥运会团体赛决赛中，张继科与队友马龙、许昕以3-1击败日本队，并获得冠军，也因此实现了奥运中国男子团体3连冠 。
张继科是个性鲜明的新一代中国运动员，胆子大，靠内心的强大带动技术，压力越大反弹越高，抗压能力不是一般人所能比拟。
中国国家队总教练刘国梁就曾评价张继科说：“他缺少马龙身上的低调、谦虚和谨慎，但他身上的棱角和血性是马龙没有的。如果他赢了比赛，是从胸口发出的，就像藏獒的声音，这时候，他就要攻击对手了，这时候才是他最好的状态。”
没错，张继科就是这样一名运动员，他叛逆、狂野，桀骜不驯，但他也是天才，因为他已经用历史上最快大满贯印证了这一点。
