Miracle Mile event raises $20K for Beebe's cancer patient fund

Beebe Medical Foundation recently presented a gift of $20,504 to Beebe Healthcare’s Oncology Services for its Cancer Patient Special Needs Fund.
More than 270 community members donated funds during the annual Miracle Mile event held June 27. Gifts continued coming in to the foundation throughout the year.
The fund assists individual patients who have limited financial resources and need help covering emergent expenses such as prescriptions or copays for medications; medical supplies such as wigs or mastectomy prostheses; nutrition; essential living expenses; and transportation. Beebe Medical Foundation donates to Cancer Patient Special Needs Fund

DELAWARE – The Beebe Medical Foundation has donated money to help its Cancer Patient Special Needs Fund.
$20,504 was raised for the fund, and we’re told that money will help individual patients who have limited financial resources and are in need of help in covering emergent expenses such as prescriptions or copays for medications and medical supplies.
We’re told without this donation, some patients would not have access to their basic needs while undergoing cancer treatments. The money was raised by more than 270 community members during the annual Miracle Mile event held on June 27th.
