PDC International, manufacturer of shrink sleeve labeling and tamper evident banding machinery, announces that Gary Tantimonico has been promoted from Vice President to President. Tantimonico who has been in the machine tool industry for over 30 years, will replace Neal Konstantin, who will retain the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Tantimonico has been with PDC since 1991, originally hired as sales manager. He was instrumental in developing a professional sales department for the organization, hiring regional staff and organizing a sales team apparatus. Before coming to PDC, Tantimonico was a product manager at Milford Fastening Systems (formerly known as Milford Rivet and Machine Company). He began his career in the machinery industry at Bridgeport Connecticut s Bullard Company as an inside sales application engineer. ....

In that case, appellate judges reconfigured damages against Alston & Bird as a single defendant in a case involving an at-fault non-party, putting the firm on the hook for 92% of damages despite being found 32% liable.
This year, appellate courts also ruled that a company can t duck certain employment-related negligence claims even if it admits vicarious liability for an employee s conduct, which affected the apportionment of blame in a wrongful death case to give the plaintiff a new opportunity to recover damages.
