Police responded to reports a boy had gone missing from the area of Branksome tennis courts. The six-year-old had last been seen in the area near Branksome tennis courts shortly after 6pm on Friday, May 14. Due to concerns for the boy s safety, Dorset Police tasked all free officers to the location. The boy was found safe and well a short time later. In a statement on Facebook, a spokesperson for Poole Police said: You may have seen a number of blue lights from police vehicles around 6.20pm this evening. ....
“The 14 and two 12-year-olds were stop searched for drugs, the spokesman said. Two boys were detained and are assisting Police with enquiries.” The arrests were made as Dorset Police look to crack down on public disorder and anti-social behaviour among young people in the area through Operation Hacienda. The spokesman added: “Operation Hacienda is currently running in Poole. It targets teenagers carrying weapons and dealing Class A drugs. “This particular group was dealt with due to one of them, the 14-year-old, being an Operation Hacienda priority target nominal. “There are increasing reports of children grooming other children in what police refer to as CCE - Child Criminal Exploitation. ....
