Places are busy, there are lineups at many of the stores and it appears that people are spending money like crazy. The only reminder of the pandemic is the wearing of face coverings and people seem to be socially distancing as much as they can.

According to the Ontario government, we will be heading into Step 3 earlier than originally planned, and on July 16, many more restrictions will be lifted. This is due to the ongoing success of the vaccination rollout, as well as the number of COVID-19 cases having continually gone down and remaining stable.

Knowing that September can creep up quickly, Paul Frustaglio has set to work early in preparing the French River Rapids for 2021-22.
President, general manager and head coach for the NOJHL club, Frustaglio has already made a slew of signings, with a focus on Northern Ontario talent, and is also expecting several veterans back at Noelville Community Centre for what he hopes will be the team’s first full season since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
