BERKLEY Thomas Lynch will retire as the Berkley School Superintendent on June 30 after 36 years in academia and fifteen years as the accomplished head of the town school system.
And he introduced more technology to Berkley students: computers in every Berkley classroom and Chromebooks for every student needing one for the town s COVID-pandemic-era hybrid teaching model, he said.
Lynch himself considers these his biggest accomplishments in Berkley.
He noted he might have retired a year earlier, except he realized Berkley schools would need guidance through the challenges the COVID pandemic would bring.
When I started here in 2005, they didn t have very much technology in the classroom, he explained.  ....
