About this event
Current events have made us reconsider the ease of travel we once took for granted. Three hundred years ago, travel and the experiences that came with it were new and novel concept. The Grand Tour was a cultural phenomenon that spanned three centuries and invented the very notion of tourism, as well as the Neoclassical and Romantic movements, arguably the eighteenth century’s greatest contributions to Western culture. In its original form, the Tour allowed promising young aristocratic British men to complete their educations abroad. However at its heart was a dichotomy between the stoic nation-building aspirations of the British Empire, and the unruly desires of a generation of outrageously privileged young men who were let loose on the world for the first time with ....

As COVID-19 restrictions are beginning ease, the City of Perth are also easing some of its restrictions to services and operations.
Further to an earlier announcement by Premier Mark McGowan on Thursday night (28 April 2021), there has been a further easing of restrictions for the Perth and Peel regions.
Therefore there will be some changes to City of Perth services:
Citiplace Rest Centre: Will continue to operate as usual, following 2sq m social distancing rules.
Perth Town Hall: Will operate as usual, following 2sq m social distancing rules.
Citiplace Child Care Centre: Will operate as usual. ....
