SR. SR. You guys are set to play at Full Tilt across Australia, which will be probably the biggest rock tour to date during the pandemic. How are you guys are getting ready for it? JW. It is so exciting, we actually just played in Geelong over the weekend in Melbourne, and that was our first show in over 14 months…it was surreal if you think about what is happening in another places of the world. ....
Date Time Playground and community centre considered for funding Two new community places have been proposed thanks to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program. The program was initiated by the Department to allow for faster delivery of ‘legacy’ planning proposals – those projects that had received a gateway determination more than three years ago but were not yet fully funded. Hills youth get behind Clean Up Australia Day Written by Darryn Capes-Davis on 22 February 2021 The Hills Shire Youth Ambassadors, Hayley Irving and Anthony Radic, along with their fellow Youth Army colleagues are getting behind this year’s Clean Up Australia Day event. The budding environmentalists will join the Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne at Bella Vista Farm on Sunday, March 7 to clean the site. Hayley, who studies biology and environmental science at university, said Clean Up Australia Day reminds everyone that they are all part of a bigger picture. “The world will keep spinning long after we’re gone, so it’s our job to take care of it for future generations,” Hayley said. ....
