Alfa Romeo has made the biggest jump of any team ahead of the 2021 season.
That is the view of Williams driver George Russell, who thinks Haas will instead be his British employer s main rival this year.
Alfa Romeo, he says, impressed him in Bahrain testing.
Kimi (Raikkonen) looked very, very fast, said Russell. They have made the biggest jump of any team.

Ferrari has not made a big step with its 2021 engine, according to customer team Haas boss Gunther Steiner.
Some analysts are saying Ferrari s new engine is 40 horsepower better than the underperforming power unit of 2020.
Haas boss Steiner told the German broadcaster RTL: I cannot say that it is a big step forward.
Then I would show Ferrari that I am satisfied with what we have been given, and I cannot do that, he laughed. It s never enough in motorsport - if you say it is, then something is wrong. ....

Williams new CEO Jost Capito has admitted the British team could lose George Russell to Mercedes for 2022.
If Mercedes were to make him an offer now, there would be few alternatives for him to think about, Capito, who was signed up by Williams new owners last December, told formel1.de.
Russell is a prominent member of Mercedes driver development program, and late last season he shone whilst filling in for the ill Lewis Hamilton.
Both Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas are out of contract at the end of the year, although 23-year-old Russell insists he has been made no promises by Mercedes. ....

Nikita Mazepin will not get preferential treatment at Haas this season, team boss Gunther Steiner insists.
Mick Schumacher may be the more famous and popular Haas rookie for 2021, but the company headed by Mazepin s billionaire father Dmitry is the team s new title sponsor.
Both drivers are equal in the team, Steiner insisted to the German broadcaster n-tv.
Mr (Dmitry) Mazepin also said: My son has no advantage .
Steiner said that position is also backed up by the contracts signed between Haas and the Russian fertiliser producer Uralkali. ....
