Pretoria - MEC FOR Health in Limpopo Dr Phophi Ramathuba said she was very emotional after two ZCC leaders had their Covid-19 vaccinations.
His Grace the Right Reverend Bishop Dr Barnabas Edward Lekganyane and his wife, Elizabeth, as well as the leader of St Engenas ZCC Bishop Dr Joseph Lekganyane and his wife received their Covid-19 vaccines at the Pietersburg Hospital in Limpopo yesterday. The jabs were administered by Ramathuba. ....

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and his wife Leah were vaccinated on Monday as Phase 2 of the vaccine rollout was launched across SA.
Archbishop Tutu and his wife were among the first senior citizens to receive their vaccinations this week in Phase 2 of the vaccine rollout programme focusing on people aged over 60.
The Tutus were vaccinated at Brooklyn Chest Hospital in Milnerton, one of the designated vaccination sites in the Western Cape.
A total of 939 people were vaccinated on day one Phase 2, with health teams going to old age homes, and calling a small number of people to come to the vaccination sites along with remaining health workers. ....

Cape Town - The Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has followed through on his pledge in January and was vaccinated in the Western Cape today, where Phase 2 of the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out had started.
At the start of the year in January, the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation had expressed its support for Covid-19 vaccines.
At the time the archbishop pledged to be vaccinated against the coronavirus as soon as one became available to him.
On Monday, where the Western Cape government began with its vaccine roll-out of the Pfizer jab, 89-year-old Tutu and wife, Leah Tutu, were among the first in the province to get vaccinated at Brooklyn Chest Hospital. ....
