By Sana G May 7, 2021 Track star Heather Hennessy filed a lawsuit against Los Gatos and Archbishop Mitty High School for negligence in her sexual abuse by her track coach Chioke Robinson. Heather claims that her coach abused several of her fellow athletes and she even transferred schools to Los Gatos High School to escape him and he followed her and became assistant coach there. Heather tried to tell the head coach that Robinson was stalking her he just told her to run to the other side of the track . Heather was urged to come forward by a campaign that students in Los Gatos have started against sexual assault. She said in a press conference I want it to stop now. These schools and coaches need to take the protection of children, students, athletes serious. I want the culture of sports in these schools to know my story so they do what s right. I pray that all adults watching this know that kids bodies are off-limits . ....

Phillips led the 2013 USA U16 National Team to gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and the 2014 USA U17 World Cup Team to gold at the 2014 FIBA U17 World Cup in the following summer. Entering her 23 rd year as the girls basketball coach and math teacher at Archbishop Mitty, she owns an amazing 638-124 career record and has won six California Interscholastic Federation state championships. In 1999, she led her team to a 31-0 record a state title and was named Student Sports Magazine National Coach of the Year. ....
