सर्लाहीको वाग्मती नगरपालिका– १२ स्थित मानवनिर्मित ठूलो मानिएको भरत तालमा जेटबोट चल्न थालेको छ । ताल निर्माणको कार्य पूर्णरुपमा नसकिए पनि असार १० गतेदेखि तालमा जेटबोट सञ्चालनमा ल्याइएको छ ।
पूर्वपश्चिम लोकमार्गदेखि करिब दुई किलोमिटर दक्षिणतर्फ रहेको सो मानवनिर्मित तालमा ३५ सिटे जेटबोट सञ्चालनमा ल्याइएको छ । वाग्मती नगरपालिकाका प्रमुख भरतकुमार थापाका अनुसार मोटरबोट सञ्चालनमा आएदेखि सो ताल पर्यटकीय केन्द्र बनेको छ । यहाँ यो ताल हेर्न र जेटबोट चढ्न देशका विभिन्न ठाउँबाट दैनिक सयौँ आन्तरिक तथा बाह्य पर्यटक आउने गरेका छन् ।
नगर प्रमुख थापाको विशेष पहलमा करिब १२१ बिघा क्षेत्रफलमा निर्माण गरिएको यस तालको गहिराइ ४५ फिट छ । गर्मीयाममा यहाँ मोटरबोट चढेर आनन्द लिन र मनोरञ्जनका लागि स्थानीय र वरपरका जिल्लाका पर्यटक यहाँ आउन थालेका छन् ।
बिदाको दिन परिवारसहित ठूलो सङ्ख्यामा आन्तरिक पर्यटक यहाँ आउने गरेको पाइन्छ । यस तालमा हंसराज प्रजातिको हाँस पालिएको छ र आगामी दिनमा माछापालन गरिने नगरपालिकाले योजना बनाएको छ ।
नगरपालिकाभित्रका करिब एक हजार २०० बेरोजगार युवालाई रोजगारी दिने योजनाका साथ तालको निर्माण शुरु गरिएको नगर उपप्रमुख लीलाकुमारी मोक्तानले जानकारी दिनुयो । उहाँका अनुसार नगरको अर्थोपार्जनका लागि ताल महत्वपूर्ण स्रोत बन्न सक्छ ।

धौलागिरि अस्पताल बागलुङले एक महिनामा ९१ जटिल खालका शल्यक्रिया गरेको छ । साउनमा प्रसूति, हाडजोर्नी, नाक, कान, घाँटी, दाँत तथा बच्चाको शल्यक्रिया गरेको हो ।
धौलागिरि अस्पतालमा पहिलो पटक एकै महिनामा यति धेरै शल्यक्रिया भएका हुन् । यसअघि जटिल खालका शल्यक्रिया न्यून मात्रामा हुने गरेका थिए । यसअघिको तथ्याङ्क हेर्दा प्रसूतिका ३३ र अन्य जटिल खालका शल्यक्रिया तीन मात्रै एक महिनामा भएको तथ्याङ्क छ ।
अस्पतालको शल्यक्रिया कक्ष प्रमुख देवी भट्टराईले भन्नुभयो, “विषेशज्ञ चिकित्सकको सक्रियता र उपकरणको उपलब्धताले यो सम्भव भएको हो ।” अस्पतालले हाडजोर्नी टुटेफुटेको समयमा राख्नुपर्ने पातासमेत साउनदेखि बागलुङबाटै राख्न सुरु गरेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो ।
